Colchester is rich in the arts, and music in particular.
With the Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra and the Kingfisher Ensemble, Colchester audiences can enjoy a huge variety of music played to professional and acclaimed standards.
Between them, they can offer large symphonic works of Beethoven to Tchaikovsky, the concerti of Brahms to Rachmaninov, through to small ensemble pieces and duo recitals.
The CSO and CCO give a season of six concerts from September to July on Saturday evenings at St Botolph’s Church. The Kingfisher Ensemble performs on Sunday afternoons at Lion Walk Church.
